Pat's Prayers: Part of the Body Dear Jesus, I know the dream. I know what you have in store. Is it finally time for me? I want to become that miracle! I want to release this feeling of energy all balled up inside and use it for your good. I need to tell people and have them understand. Yet, we live in a time of deception when many people who think they have the dream right have been deceived by evil. At some time, deceit crept into their dream and convinced them that they were God, or that there is no God or something like that. These people will be very convincing and many will follow, putting their faith in the flesh instead of the Spirit. Everyone is invited to be part of God's body. We are born in a state of innocence and are taught right from wrong from our parents. We are given a period of grace as children to get connected to the body. But everyone is invited and no one can be denied. And no one can tell you to leave. The body is not from you but part of you, or better put, you are a piece--a very small piece--of the body. There are no leaders... only listeners; tapping into the Spirit of God and allowing it to happen. Many times I have had to do things or say things that as a person with human emotions I did not want to say or do. But I knew if I truly must go with the spirit, I sometimes need to simply allow some things to happen. At the same time, if I see someone who claims to be part of the Spirit but whose actions show they are not, I must tell them or I have sinned against the body. We can not look at where a person was and call them good, but where they are and how they reflect the Spirit by what they do.
